servicesbookingsavailability

Services let buyers book appointments with you. A service combines a listing (name, category, price, duration) with availability entries that generate buyer-visible slots, optional staff, and a provider booking calendar.

Before you start

  • Sign in as a Space owner or team member with service management access; service tools depend on your Space plan and role.
  • Decide your price model, default appointment length, and working hours before publishing.
  • Services without availability entries produce no bookable slots.

Create and publish a service

  1. Open Settings > Storefront > My services and select Create first service (or the new service action). A draft is created and the editor opens.
  2. Fill in the basics: name, Category, description, tags, and media shown in listings.
  3. Choose a price model — Fixed price, From price, Price range, or Custom — and a currency.
  4. Set scheduling defaults: Duration minutes, buffers, lead time, confirmation, and payment handling, plus the booking policy and cancellation cutoff buyers see.
  5. Set the location mode (Online, Provider location, Buyer location, or Custom), add intake questions and optional add-ons, then use Publish service from the services list.

Set availability and staff

  1. Open Settings > Storefront > Availability and select Add availability.
  2. Create Working hours for chosen days with start and end hours, plus Break, Holiday, or Blocked time entries as needed.
  3. Open Settings > Storefront > Staff and select Add staff to add people who can take provider-managed bookings, assigning them to a service.

Manage incoming bookings

  1. Open Settings > Storefront > Bookings to see the booking calendar with day and month views.
  2. Use Accept or Decline on requests, then Check in, Check out, or Complete as appointments progress; mark absent buyers as no-show.
  3. Use Create booking to add a manual booking for a buyer directly to the calendar.

Expected result

Your published service appears on the Space Services page with price, duration, and location details, buyers can pick slots generated from your working hours, and confirmed bookings appear on your provider calendar.

Troubleshooting

  • If you see Upgrade to manage services, your Space plan or role does not include service management.
  • If buyers see no slots, check that working hours exist and are not fully covered by breaks, holidays, or blocked time.
  • If a booking cannot be accepted, the slot may conflict with blocked time or another booking.
