A wanted post is a public request for a product or service you are looking for. Other members in the Space can respond with offers, so a clear title, budget range, and description help you get useful replies faster.
Before you start
- Sign in with a profile. You can browse the Wanted hub as a guest, but creating posts and opening post details require an account.
- Your Space must allow the wanted feature; if the Wanted settings item is missing, your account lacks the required capability.
- Budgets are entered as decimal pound amounts.
Create a wanted post
- Open Settings > Content > Wanted and select Create wanted item.
- Enter a Title describing what you need. Title is the only required field.
- Add a Description with details, condition, and delivery expectations.
- Set Min budget (£) and Max budget (£) if you have a price range in mind, and an optional Location.
- Select Save. The post is created as active and opens for further editing.
Edit, archive, or share a post
- In Settings > Content > Wanted, select Edit on a listing to change the title, description, budget, location, status, or visibility (Public or Invite only).
- Use More actions or Archive selected to close listings you no longer need.
- Open your post from the Wanted hub and use Share to copy its public link.
Expected result
Your post appears in the Wanted hub discover list, shows a price range and location, and starts collecting offers. Other members can like the post and bookmark it from the post detail page to find it again later.
Troubleshooting
- If Save is disabled, add a title; the checklist on the create page lists missing required fields.
- If you see a budget error, check that the maximum budget is greater than or equal to the minimum.
- If a post is view-only in the editor, its current status does not allow edits; reopen it first.
- If the Wanted hub shows no results for a search, try a shorter phrase.
