Shipping prices are quoted automatically at checkout from real carrier rates, per seller shipment. You do not define manual zones or flat rates; instead you provide the inputs the quotes are based on: where parcels ship from, their default size and weight, and which carriers may be used.

Before you start

  • You need product write access in the Space to open Settings > Storefront > Shipping.
  • Have your ship-from contact details ready: name, street, city, postcode, country code, phone, and email.
  • Know a sensible default parcel weight (kg) and length, width, and height (cm) for your typical shipment.

Complete the shipping setup

  1. Open Settings > Storefront > Shipping. The readiness banner at the top tells you whether you are ready to sell physical products and lists anything missing.
  2. Fill in the Ship-from address fields; company name is optional and everything else is required.
  3. Set the Package defaults: weight in kilograms and length, width, and height in centimetres.
  4. In Carriers, tick the carriers you want checkout to request quotes from, and keep the Automatic toggle on so checkout quotes shipping for you.
  5. Select Save shipping setup and wait for the saved confirmation.

Expected result

The readiness banner switches to "Ready to sell physical products", and buyers checking out with your shipped items see carrier shipping options quoted per shipment from your address, package defaults, and enabled carriers.

Troubleshooting

  • If the banner still says the setup is incomplete, it lists what is missing; fill those sections and save again.
  • If buyers see no shipping options for your products, confirm at least one carrier is enabled and the automatic toggle is on.
  • If quotes look too expensive, review your package defaults; oversized or heavy defaults raise every quote.
  • If saving fails, check that required address fields are filled and the country code is valid (for example GB).
