You can send a livestream to external platforms alongside your Space. The available external destinations are YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Live, and TikTok Live.

Before you start

  • Connect each platform account you want to use; destinations that are not connected show a Connect badge that links to Settings > Apps.
  • Each external destination is billed in credits per hour while it is active; the rate is shown next to each destination in the selector.
  • Destination activation depends on the livestream visibility: connected destinations activate when the livestream is public.

Connect a streaming destination

  1. Open Settings > Apps.
  2. Connect the platform account (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, or TikTok) to your profile.
  3. Return to your livestream; connected platforms now show a Connected badge and a selectable checkbox.

Choose destinations for a livestream

  1. Open Settings > Content > Livestreams and create or edit a livestream.
  2. In the Streaming destinations section, tick the connected destinations you want.
  3. For a public livestream, one destination can be selected at creation; other checkboxes lock once one is picked.
  4. For a Space or invite-only livestream, selected destinations stay pending and activate automatically when the visibility changes to Public. You can edit destinations on an upcoming, non-public livestream.
  5. Twitch restreaming goes live on your connected Twitch channel.

Expected result

When the livestream is public and running, the selected connected destinations carry your stream, and each active external destination accrues its per-hour credit cost.

Troubleshooting

  • If a platform only shows Connect your own account, it is not connected yet; connect it under Settings > Apps and reload the livestream form.
  • If you cannot tick a second destination on a public livestream, that is expected: one public destination can be selected at creation.
  • If destination checkboxes are not editable, the livestream may already be live, public, or not using the destination integration; destination editing applies to upcoming non-public livestreams.
